Kiyoshi Togashi is a NYC photographer who specializes in food, botanicals and still life photography. He is the 2nd son in 11 generations of rice farmers in rural Northern Japan and graduated with a BFA from Tokyo's Nihon University.

TOGASHI's signature style is a blend of his Japanese aesthetics, executed with a Western twist. He favors graphic compositions, a rich use of color, intense blacks and clean modern whites. He has a large state-of-the-art digital studio located in the Flatiron District.

TOGASHI's photography has received industry recognition with a 2012 & 2009 GRAPHIS Photography Gold Award; a Clio, Art Director's Club, Print Magazine, and several Creativity awards. After Capture Magazine, Digital PhotoPro and Professional Photographer's Magazine have featured articles on TOGASHI.

TOGASHI is photographing his 11th book on Native American jewelry, beads, and artifacts. The books have been part of corresponding world-wide exhibitions. TOGASHI's work hangs in private collections in the United States and Japan and has been exhibited in the Steuben Glass Gallery in NYC.
